Hoy una nueva Katherine... Katherine Anne Porter.

De nuevo con una escritora de nombre Katherine, como la autora de nuestra obra de próxima lectura, Katherine Pancol; nos estamos refiendo a la escritora estadounidense, Katherine Anne Porter, que recibió el Premio Pulitzer y el National Book Award en 1966 por "Cuentos completos", siendo, además, tres veces nominada para el Premio Nobel de Literatura.

Katherine Anne Porter nació en 1890 en Indian Creck, falleciendo en 1980 en Silver Spring. A raíz de su compromiso político, vivió en el México revolucionario y en el París de la generación perdida. De su obra, caracterizada por su virtuosismo estilístico, cabe destacar los libros de relatos "Judas en flor" (1930) y "La torre inclinada" (1944), así como la novela "La nave de los locos" (1962).
